Purpose
This is not written to advocate on behalf of capital punishment, no. The purpose of this part is to show that in God's eyes, the gravity of the transgression yields a greater penalty and this is God's judgment not man's. This means that when a man or woman stands in judgment before God, and is guilty of kidnapping, it will yield the punishment of eternal damnation.
Let God be true and every man a liar.
This brings light to many things that have happened down through history to show, even today, the proof of God's judgment on this matter.
Deuteronomy 24:7
If a man be found stealing any of his brethren of the children of Israel, and maketh merchandise of him, or selleth him; then that thief shall die; and thou shalt put evil away from among you.
Drawing near to God, practicing holiness to the Lord, is the daily exercise of Putting evil away from you. Deuteronomy 24:7 is good to remember because this command/judgment from God is in effect 24 hours a day 7 days a week, as long as the sun and the moon endures, till the end of time on earth.
1 Timothy 1:8-11
But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully;
Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man,
BUT it is for
the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,
For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;
According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.
If we practice keeping the Law of God, then we are a blessed people and will remain blessed.
Note that the law is not acted upon unless someone decides to break the law. A righteous judge will not call a person before them in judgment if that person is an innocent citizen. God is the Righteous Judge and all would do well to examine their heart and actions now before the day of judgment arrives so they will be justified rather than condemned.
1 Timothy 1:15
This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners;
Psalm 32:1-2
Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.
Blessed is the man unto whom the Lord imputeth not [does not hold guilty of] iniquity, and [the person] in whose spirit there is no guile.
Psalm 32:5-11
I acknowledge my sin unto Thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord; and Thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.
For this shall every one that is godly pray unto Thee in a time when Thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.
Thou art my hiding place; Thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.
To the person who repented of their sin, this is God's response when they cry out to Him in their time of trouble:
I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.
Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee.
Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the Lord, mercy shall compass him about.
Be glad in the Lord, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.

If any man or woman has been involved in stealing any other human being whether directly or indirectly, they too can repent from their sins. There is room at the cross for you.
God is ready and willing to forgive any who will come to Him with a sincerely repentant heart.
Then once you have been forgiven, Go and sin no more.

Ephesians 4:28
Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.
