The Law of Liberty
Before going in to the next commandment, something must first be understood: that is that the law of sin and death still exists.
The law is for the lawless – in other words, the one who keeps the law (the commandment) has nothing to be concerned about, because they are abiding within the guidelines of the law. However, the one who is not keeping the law, has something to be concerned about, for the law stands against them – or rather they against the law, as law breakers.

James 1:25 - But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
Blessed are they who Keep It
The law of God has not changed, nor will it ever. The moral commandments (generally known as the ten commandments) are to be kept just as much now as when God first gave them to the people of Israel at Mount Sinai. May God's name be praised!!
He designated these ordinances to to make known the difference between those who are His, the called of God and those who are not. (Leviticus 20:22-26)

James 1:23-25 - For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

Let it be known now that God still upholds this law – HIS Law. This is His order, His command, His Word – He said, Blessed are they who keep My Word. Keep His Word, Do His Word, Love His Word, Partake of His Word, Be ministers of His Word both in word and in deed – be doers of the Word and not hearers only. Blessed are all they who put their trust in Him. Blessed are those who live not according to the ways of this world, but are transformed by the renewing of their minds, who live as the called of God in Christ Jesus. Blessed are they when men shall revile you and persecute you for living according to the ways of God. Behold, Blessed are all those who put their trust in Me saith the Lord of hosts, the Lord God, the Creator of Heaven and Earth, the Lord who reigns forever and ever.

May Your name, O Lord, be praised forever and ever. Amen.

God be praised, whose truth endures to all generations!

Be a Doer
James 1:21-25 - Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls. But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

As we go into this next command of the Lord, please understand it is GOD'S Word, not man's. This is an ordinance of God with very good reason.

May all who read this understand.
Praise the Lord.
